12/365 - Showers!

this pic is blurry because it was taken on my phone. but anyways.

Sometimes, when I'm either lazy or busy, Fathead takes a shower with me. At first she hated it. Now she loves it, and doesn't want to get out at the end.

Today was a day that she loved it. There's a shelf in there that's her height, and she just stood there and played with her toys.

She also didn't mind the water hitting her . That was her problem in the beginning. She also didn't shit, which seems to happen when she's with her father.

And so my picture is of her, after the shower. She decided to cheese, but of course, since my camera on my phone is so lame, the picture came out all blurry.

11/365 - Applebees.

Today's post is going to be short. I'm still tired and still don't feel well.

So today we went to Applebees for my birthday dinner. We ate a lot, and Fathead had fun. She even tried to share her food with the little girl next door.

Well on the way home, she fell asleep, and was asleep all the way up the stairs. That is, until we got her changed. She decided it was playtime. She was dancing all around playing with a mirror. She wouldn't even let me button her onesie.

After Carl and I went downstairs, we thought she was asleep, until 10 minutes later. All we heard was he MP3 Player, and her toys in her crib. She was singing along with the music, and just having a good ol' time.

That's the post for today. I think tomorrow I will try to get a pic of something other than fathead.

10/365 - New Gate

This post will be about exactly what the title says. A new gate. It's also going to be short, because I'm sick, and tired.

Today we got Fathead a new gate. The last one we bought, she broke. We now use that one as a blocker so she can't get out of the living room when she plays.

This one is also a lot nicer than the last one. For only $22 it does a lot more too. As you can see, we can swing it open and closed, because of those bad fuckers we watch.

And this one, Fathead absolutely can not break. It's virtually impossible. We had her try to do it, and we've customized it to her.

9/365 - How's it feel?

Well Since today is my birthday, I get "Happy Birthday", and "So, how's it feel to be 18?" all day. Honestly, it feels the same. I have no idea why. Maybe because I've been living on my own anyways, and I've been able to do what an 18 year old can do. Aside from buying tobacco products, but I don't care about those.

My boyfriend was amazing to me today. He let me nap, he made me the most AMAZING dinner, and he did all the dishes.

Fathead got a brownie, since I don't like cake, and she loved it. And finally, after about 4 months, we took a new family picture. That's my picture for today. Fathead doesn't look happy because well, she was tired. It was a long day.

8/365 - "Hm. What's that?"

Fathead loves to explore. She is one of the most curious babies I have ever met. She turns her head to look for things, and must always see what's going on. But this past week she has been doing the funniest thing yet. She decided to put her hands behind her back and wlak around.

When she does this, to me, she looks like one of those professors that walks around the class as you're testing. She walks around the room, and just looks at everything.

If she comes to something she likes, she'll bend over and pick it up, all while keeping one hand behind her back. She does this for about 20 minutes, before we pick her up, or she decides she is finished. I just love her. She is a little crazy baby, and she is my world.

7/365 - Feb 23rd. -So much hair!

Okay, so since my camera was being lame and not uploading yesterday, I will do two tonight. This is yesterdays.

So, if you haven't noticed already, Fathead has a lot of hair. Yes, it's cute. It's also annoying. Brushing it, combing it, trying to make it actually look halfway decent when we go out. It's a pain. She also loves to play with it, so even if I put it up, her hands go right up there and pull the rubber band out.

Secondly, Fathead loves to feed herself. She always has. Idk why, but it doesn't bother me much. Not, do you know what happens when you mix a toddler who loves to play with her hair, feeding herself? You get a mess. I'm talking food everywhere.

Today, Fathead happened to have one of her salads from Giant. It has a great variety of fruits, veggies, and meats in there. Well, this is what you get.
Yes, that's right. there are tomatoes, and peas in her hair. She was just chillin too. Eating away like nothing ever happened.

Needless to say, Yes the hair is cute, but a handful.

6/365 - I'm a big girl!

So since Fathead went to my mom's last night, I was stoked to have her back with me today. We played, watched Yo Gabba Gabba, and even napped. Other than that, it was a pretty boring day, so this post will be short.

Kimberly loves bags. She has a Wegmans bag she stole from my dad, and she carries around her shape sorter like a bag. So every time she gets her hand on my purse, she carries it around.

She even puts it over her arm like I do. Lord, my child is a little fashionista already.

5/365 - Nap Time!

There's Fathead. Finally napping. Nap time in our house, is a very rare occasion. Normally Fathead goes to bed at 9:30, and wakes up at 8:30. Very good right? well check this. She goes back to sleep at 10, until 12. So another two hours. That's normally her first, ad only, nap.

So when nap time rolled around today, I HAD to take a picture of it. Now, notice how, she's sleeping horizontally. She could easily be spread out and have plenty of room. But no, not Fathead. She must make things difficult.

Right before she fell asleep, she was laying on her stomach, sticking her head out, and had her feet crossed, and raised in the air behind her. She looked like a little kid watching cartoons on a Saturday morning.

Sometimes I have no idea what to do with my child. But today, with this glorious nap time, when she napped for an hour, I knew exactly what to do. I napped as well.

4/365 - Yo, It's almost time to shut up!

"Yo! It's almost time to go!" It's like clockwork. Everyday, at 4:50, that's all you here DJ Lance Rock saying. If you don't know who that is, he's from Yo! Gabba Gabba! on Noggin. And must I say, that is the most annoying show once you actually watch it. It's scary as hell too.

Of course, it's Fathead's all time favorite show. She has the DVD, and she watches the [finally] new episodes everyday at 4:30. As soon as DJ Lance starts walking, she's in front of the tv watching it.

Does that make me a bad mother? Hell if I care. That gives me 25 minutes to do whatever the hell I need to get done. Fathead will just lay, or sit there. You can't get her attention, no matter what you try. Good lord, the ignoring stage has started already.

Please people, don't let your children watch this show. This is what you'll get from it.

3/365 - Time to Potty Train!

Yes, sadly, it's getting to be that time, where my baby is not a baby for much longer. Pretty soon, she will be running home from the bus stop to tell me about her day. But before that can happen, she needs to be potty trained.

Before every bath, Fathead gets put on her little potty. Yes, I understand it looks like a boring one. What's all the hype about getting a wicked nice one? It's just going to get shit all over it. Yes, pun intended. Anyways, we do this, and she sits on it for about five minutes. When she's finished, she gets up, closes the cover, and walks to the tub.

Today she got finished, closed it, walked to the tub, and I put her in. Just as I turned around to move the potty back, I hear a trickling of water. And as I turn back around, I see my daughter peeing in her tub. It happens every single time, without fail.

Ah well. Fathead is only 13 months. We still have a while to go before she can even think about school, and the bus. All I want to know is, what happened to my little baby? The one who used to just lay there, and stare up at me with curious eyes? Man, these next 17 years will go by quickly.

2/365. Who's that walking in?

Today we had a lovely appointment at 1:30. Did we get in on time? Of course not! We sat in the waiting area for about 45 minutes. There weren't many people in there, so Fathead was pretty calm. All of a sudden, the door opened.

"OMG! Who's that?!?" Fathead decided to turn her head and look every time the door opened. She would look, say something, then lay back on her daddy and drink her cup.

So repeat this, 20 times. Yes, that was all we did while waiting. And then a lovely couple sat next to us. Again, Fathead was interested, and leaned forward. BUt the second the lady looked, she would smile, and lean back.

In the end, we went in, Fathead had fun with out worker, and she ate some apples. (Although, most ended neatly lined on the desk.)

All in all, my child is a people watcher. Let's see how this plays out during her childhood.

1/365 - Our day out.

Today was a good day. We went out, got a lot of the things we needed for Kimberly, and a few extras. She had tons of fun being out. She just loves being outside . Which brings me to pic number 1. (yes, there will be more than one)

I just love this picture. She looks so adorable just sitting there, looking around. I also love the way her pants look with those shoes. :)
And then we went out and bought a few things, and went to the store. She loves walking around, and touching everything. Which brings me to the last picture. (yes, only two.) lol.

This is my all time favorite of the day. I love it. She loves her daddy, and he loves her. They also have matching shoes on. ha.

2.16.2009

Well, I've decided to do a Project 365. (Thanks Mel and Denise.) lol. Starting tomorrow, I will post my pictures, and maybe you will learn a little bit about me. Who knows, you might even like me and follow. ;) So get ready, because my life can be pretty hectic.
